Produces negative output pulse across plate load of secondary-emission pentode. Feedback is from dynode to control grid, rather than from plate to cathode. Diode insures that feedback pulse does not affect other circuits, und makes feedback nearly independent of input generator impedance. Used in high-speed, short. duration pulse work.-E. J.
