Vishay has developed a new series of AEC-Q200-qualified, dual-in-line thin film resistor networks. They are available in 14- or 16-pin SOIC packages. The NOMCA series are characterized by low absolute TCR of ±25 ppm/℃, TCR tracking of 5 ppm/℃, tight ratio tolerances to ±0.05%, and long-term ratio stability of 0.05% after 1,000 hours at +125℃. Moreover, the resistor networks are constructed with self-passivating tantalum nitride resistor film on a high-purity alumina or ceramic substrate to improve ESD and moisture protection.
The NOMCA thin film resistor networks are featuring a robust, molded 50-mil pitch construction to provide 7 or 8 isolated resistors. Each resistor offers a wide resistance range of 1 kΩ to 50 kΩ and a typical power rating of 100 mW.
According to Vishay’s engineers, the integrated construction of NOMCA resistor networks allows for higher precision over discrete SMT chips. That makes the devices suitable for precision voltage dividers, op amps, and battery management applications. However, the samples of the NOMCA resistor networks are available now.
