Paralan has introduced the Compact PCI, CompactPCI Serial Boards and PMC boards from the German manufacturer EKF. EKF offers complete solutions for industrial applications by using the latest in technology, with a focus on high reliability and long-term availability of all products.

Paralan and EKF can provide a wide range of carrier boards, CPU boards, and mezzanine cards.

According to Marc Brooks, the CEO of the company, the company makes US product manufacturers and system integrators to access and import the full range of computing board solutions from EKF. "EKF is world known for the quality of their boards and industrial solutions. They maintain ISO 9000 certified quality management system with respect to both development and manufacturing.”

Founded in 1972, EKF develops and manufactures CompactPCI boards and systems based on Intel low power (mobile) processors. In addition, EKF is currently developing solutions for new standards such as CompactPCI Serial, incorporating PCI Express and other high speed technology. Custom specific boards and systems are a growing part of EKF’s extended product portfolio, including ruggedized solutions for industrial temperature range and harsh environments. EKF maintains a certified quality management system according to ISO 9000 with respect to both, development and manufacturing (ISO 9001 & ISO 9002).
