E-Switch introduced the RDT Series rotary DIP switch, offering a selection of 4, 6, 8, 10 or 16 positions and IP67 sealing protection for applications that need protection from the elements. The switch comes with SMT or through hole option termination options, and right angle or vertical mounting options. This switch comes in your choice of tape & reel or tube packaging and has gold contacts. Specifications include a life expectancy of 10,000 steps; switching contact rating of 42 VDC, 150 mA. And non-switching contact rating of 42 VDC, 200 mA; contact resistance (initial max) of 80 mΩ, insulation resistance of 100 MΩ min at 250 VDC; dielectric Strength greater than 250 VAC; and an actuation force of 700 gf. Operating temperatures are-40°C to 85°C (thru hole) and-60°C to 125°C (SMT).
