Recently, Adax, a leader in high-performance signalling and packet-processing infrastructure and Qosmos, a provider of Network Intelligence (NI) technology, announced the successful integration of their products with high performance. The Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) sub-system is very suited for telecom uses including Policy Control and Charging (PCC), Revenue Assurance, Quality of Service and more.
The Adax development platform integrates the Qosmos ixEngine Software Development Kit to offer products for customers’ DPI application. ixEngine’s decoding capabilities have been improved for the industry’s highest performance multi-core processors such as the Cavium Octeon on the Adax PacketRunner and PacketAMC products, which can handle huge traffic volumes at wire speed.
The Adax/Qosmos partnership provides them with an integrated, application ready, DPI sub-system that maximises the performance of their application whilst saving them precious development time.
The growing complexity and sheer volume in network traffic creates an opportunity for solution and equipment suppliers to leverage the advanced DPI and metadata extraction capabilities enabled by the joint Adax/Qosmos offering.
