Pickering Interfaces is a test and measurement company. Its head office is located in Clacton-on-Sea, UK. This firm is professional to design, manufacture and market a range of programmable switching, instrumentation and cabling products in the LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation, PXI, IEEE-488, PCI and VXI platforms. These products are mainly sold into the functional test, hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) and design verifications markets.
This is a privately owned company. It has design and manufacturing facilities in Clacton-on-Sea, UK and Trinec in the Czech Republic, together with additional company operated direct sales and support operations in the USA, Germany, France, Sweden and China.
With the introduction of the 40-754 SPDT switch module, Pickering Interface is expanding its range of PXIRF. The 40-754 is available in two different versions based on a common switch design, and it supports up to 17 off SPDT RF switches in a single module.
The high density version applies an MS-M RF multi-way connector that is suitable for switching frequencies to 500MHz, and it only occupies one slot of a 3U PXI. The higher frequency version is 2 slots wide and uses SMB connectors and suitable for switching signals to 1.2GHz.
The 40-754 is ideal for the application in both commercial and military ATE systems, and it is the highest density SPDT switch available in the standard PXI format. It can be used to replace the older VXI-based military ATE applications. Great numbers of SPDT are used as standard RF switches sub-assemblies in the PXI/LXI solutions which always replace the ATE applications.
