A range of military commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) dc-dc converters are developed by SynQor, which are produced to offer isolated dc power for electronics, such as power amplifiers, jammers, and systems requiring high power bus voltages. These converters are based on a synchronous rectifier based technology. This technology is claimed to have 95% of efficiency. In a standard half-brick package (2.49x2.39x0.51in), the 500W converter is provided.

The military COTS Zeta series of converters are available even in the harsh environment; what is more, it is able to offer full output power at case temperatures between -55°C and 100°C. Input voltage family ranges have been tailored to MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-1275 and contain 28 (16V to 40V), 28V (9V to 40V), and 28VE (9V to 70V) with many output voltage offerings between 5V and 50V. The optional built-in current sharing feature makes the easy paralleling of modules for applications requiring more than 1kW of power or module redundancy with limited external components possible.

remote on/off control, very wide +10% to -50% output voltage trim range, remote output voltage sense, input under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage protection, and optional current share are the futures of this product.
