Holtek Semiconductor has announced HT82A824R USB Speaker OTP MCU which integrates USB 2.0 Full Speed Compatible SIE and high performance D/A convertor and amplifier complying Microsoft WHQL requirement. Meantime, it combines with microcontroller to offer convenient design and manufacturing platform for users.

Due to build-in hardware UART and rich hardware resources, HT82A824R can be applied in wide applications such as i-Phone, i-Pod, i-Pad Docking and other products. For application of Auto Run, it can use HT82A824R build-in hardware SPI and USB Bulk port with external SPI Flash Memor to achieve the purpose.

HT82A824R follows the characteristics of HT82A822R, it adopts spectrum conversion to convert playing music, and display the value of spectrum on the LCD. Meantime, it changes the color of backlight, allowing users to feel the music’s power and have visual enjoyment.

HT82A824R adopts Holtek’s 8-bit microcontroller as its core, providing 8Kx16 program memory, 864x8 data memory and 512x8 read-only data memory, and providing the HALT instruction as well. The operating voltage is 4.0V ~ 5.5V; system frequency up to 16MHz; the chip also provides 21 I / O. It is a high-level dedicated microcontroller specialized for USB Speaker series.
