Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has announced general-purpose 8-bit microcontroller MB95560 Series dual-channel FLASH with new technology which features high security, high-precision and cost-effective. The series includes12 20-pin "MB95560 Series" carrying LIN-UART, six 16-pin "MB95580 Series" and 6 8-pin "MB95570 Series" . Fujitsu will provide samples in early August of 2011, and in October, 2011 start volume production.
MB95560 series is fully pin-to-pin compatible with MB95260. This series of products are based on "F2MC-New8FX family”, which use a dual-channel FLASH technology allow the program to read and write on another channel FLASH when it operates on FLASH, thus to protect important data required by customers. The family also integrates a multi-channel general-purpose timer with high variety, high-resolution A / D converter, oscillator, low-voltage detection circuit and the LIN-UART circuit, which greatly minimize the parts of customer’s system, thus to lower the cost of the product.
MB95560 series achieve the purpose of low power, which are regarded as industry-leading role: operating current is only 110 microamperes (μA) / megahertz (MHz); standby current is 5 μA; use180 nanometer (nm) process with high design energy-efficient. MB95560 devices use advanced technology to achieve higher levels of integration and accuracy, for instance: it integrates 16.25MHz ± 1% (Note 1) oscillator and data flash on a chip supporting running in the background and 100,000 erase; in addition, internal A / D converter and low voltage detection circuit also have high accuracy.
MB95560 uses "F2MC-New8FX family" common development tools and software development environment. This series of products adopts single-wire on-chip debugging, and it only takes a minimum number of pins for debugging during development.
MB95560 series can be widely applied to small appliances, digital electronics, charger, PC products, power tools, remote control products, etc. The related integrated circuit is 0032.
