The advent of electronic transducers has been considered as a revolution of manufacturing of high-voltage electrical apparatus in the 21st century. It has won great popularity because of its digital output, network wiring, which makes the electricity grid much more safer, environmental friendly. Besides, it is good for the intelligence of the whole power distribution system.

There are some advantages of the electronic transducer compared with the traditional ones. Besides, standards have to be set in order to become more convenient. Therefore, commonality and exchangeability will be insured for different manufactures to exchange information for future use.
