Nowadays, CCD image sensor has been widely used in many areas such as digital camera, cellphone, video camera, industry and medical devices. The average production in a year will be reached up to 100 million. However, with the large advent of cellphones with picture-taking function, traditional CCD market has been replaced by the new image sensor.

In the auto power system, cam and crank shaft sensors become the key components because they are closely connected with the engine which is seen as the heart of a car. Besides, specialists say predict that the sensor network will probably become the third trend after the popularity of computers and communication network industry.
Furthermore, characters of the sensor above will make higher requests for manufacturing process and material. There are many kinds of sensors that ranges from thermal one to power and laser ones. Material from which sensors are made is from mental to semiconductor or fiber.
