The MIPS Technologies, Inc has declared that the wireless high-definition market leader AMMON has gained authority of the MIPS32TMM4KTM processor. This processor is used to develop the third generation transmitting and receiving chips which meet the standard of wireless home digital interface™. AMIMON is the long-term authorized client of MIPS. It has developed the previous generation WHDI production with the MIPS kernel. Currently, there are many companies using the MIPS-Based™ chip group to develop their products. This chip group is able to transmit the complete uncompressed video and audio with 1080p/60Hz at home, it does not need any cable or installation procedure.

The chip of AMIMON can connect the video transmitting device, such as set-top box, personal computer and camera, with the display devices. In order to ensure the users can transmit the content from the movable device to the television, WHDI technique of AMIMON connects the tablet computer and smart phone with television.
