The DRAM Market Is In Trouble

Some data indicates that the development of DRAM is not optimistic in recent years. In 2009, the sales of the market reduced obviously because of the fierce competition. By contrast, corporations favor the DRAM in this year. It is analyzed that the stock price of some semiconductor corporation will recover. Experts maintain that the corporations with high ratio of DRAM and flash memory will be different with others. Although the markets of desktop computer and laptop computer inceases slowly, the movable and portable devices increase quickly. iPad and iPhone are good examples. DRAM and NAND flash memory are greatly applied by the movable devices, which is positive for its development.

Some practitioners point out that the DRAM market will recover in March of this year, because many manufacturers of personal computer are willing to purchase large amount of the products. Many chip suppliers shift their capacity to the production of NAND flash memory to guarantee the demand of smart phone and tablet computer.
