At present, more and more manufacturers are thinking about selling IT devices with RFID labels to their customers in order to prevent the lost of these devices. As a result, consumers take interest of this kind of technology because they are willing to trace their products automatically instead of using scanning and record board to scan every services one by one.
However, there are bigger problems existing in the promotion in data center of the RFID technology. A large number of devices could not found out, in fact, they are lost. One of the reasons is that the ghost servers which are hard to find are consuming energy and not do anything. It is estimated that there is about hundred percent possibility of its lost that those devices are probably becoming ghost servers, which means lots of energy and fee for maintenance is wasted.
At a data conference, there two factories launched their new products which are made on different theories. Though their price is not high, consumers are not ready to buy them. If set with a kind of passive RFID label, these servers will be activated by the labels. In another words, it can be seen as if your properties are set with a GPS system. However, there is not enough support from the government and if a device is lost, you will not allowed to go home until you find it. Besides, with the continuous change of the devices, it is not real for each of it to be set with a RFID label. Related chip is:SP4653 .
