RFID, or the technology of radio frequency identification, is an automatically identification technology which is touch-free. It is used to obtain the related data and objects by radio signal and can work under bad environment. Besides, it can identify objects which are in a very high speed and identify many labels at the same time. As a result, the whole working efficiency can be raised.
The RFID technology has the following advantages: first is the function of repetition use, and second is that it can high storage capacity with commonly millions of Bytes, next is its duration and safety, last is its fast scanning with processing several RFID labels in only one time.
RFID is used widely in manufacturing industry which is the support one in every country. As information on labels can be easily identified, RFID will be recognize it through package material like metal and plastic. By this way, it will meet the demands of the process in manufacturing and management. It has a promising future because the following two reasons. Firstly, manufacturing is a big industry and almost all the products can be recognized by their labels. Secondly, most of its applications belong to closed loop applications for chips are recyclable and can be used for a second time. Therefore, cost is not a problem during its producing process.
