As a solid light source, LED lights have become a trend because of its long life span, high efficiency and multi-color. Besides, it can work in conditions of low electric voltage and can put on and off frequently, and stroboscopic output light can also be avoided. At present, there a large applications of LED with low power in occasion such as landscape lighting and with the application of semiconductor, LED lights of large power are gradually mature. In industrial usage, large power LED lights with luminous power of 70 to 80 Lm/W and life span of 2.5 to 3 hours are applied in street lighting in cities.
However, the current situation is that there is short of enterprises for LED manufacturing. At present, a health profit is maintained in aspects of LED packages, LED display screens and LED lighting tools. With the sharp increase in LED demands, more and more companies are setting foot in lighting area, which reduces the number of LED package manufacturing.
To solve problems such as the heat dissipation, light distribution as well as to make use of the advantages of semiconductors in the maximum, it is of great importance to pay attention on the design. There are two solutions now, one is to adopt technologies of total reflection lens which can improve the efficiency of LED lighting remarkably; the other is to use the asymmetric free lens so that LED modules can only be placed in line on a flat board.
