As one of the trends in security industry, the intelligent video surveillance is a brand new market which is considered as a promising industry though it is not be replaced completely by the traditional ones. It will make the traditional systems more intelligent, for there is almost 24hours for policemen to supervise conditions, they will feel tired after hours and hours observing the screens, as a result, the efficiency of finding clues will be greatly reduced. Meanwhile, how to find emergencies with the continuing change of the screens is also a problem needs to be solved. In summary, applications and analysis of the video surveillance is of great importance.

However, there are some factors that the systems are not promoted well. First is the operating scale. At present, main applications of video monitoring systems are in traffic, prisons and electricity, and with the short of precise of the intelligent system, they can not be used in a large scale.
