As an integrated technology, any technical breakthrough of intelligent robots is based on a single breakthrough of technology. As a result, it is of great importance to put emphasis on the development of intelligent robots and related skills, which is very of dramatic significance to the fundamental research of various sciences.

Firstly, it is helpful for the understanding of images. As visual is the main source for people to get information, but it is difficult for a machine to do this. Although it is equipped with camera, it is still hard to understand images and pictures and its ability to resist inference is not strong enough. Next is the interaction between human and machine. As an electronic machine that can be called human, there is a need of some lingual technology such as voice synthesis and voice recognition. Besides, robots can carry with sensors that have functions beyond the sense of humans to make the interaction between people and machines much more advanced than that between people and people. Then it must have functions of self-control, that is, it will be able to work by itself and to check itself timely, that is, it have to work under environment of humans instead of only single theory and algorithm research.
