LED Landscape Lighting

With the great support provided by the government, the future will be the stage for LED lighting.

Why does the LED become a hot choice for landscape lighting? First is that it has great function of energy-saving. At the same lighting condition, the electric consumption is only one eighth compared with the average one, so it is effective to use this new kind of replacement for landscape lighting. Besides, the life span that LED owns is 100 times than the common one, which is free of maintenance. In addition, due to its colorful appearance, it is notably suitable for landscape lighting. Now, the LED lighting industry is changing the living environment around people and is reliving the worsening surroundings. Second, LED sources are lightly constructed and small-volumed, which is suitable for various kinds of space. Besides, it belongs to solid light source which does not need to charge. In addition, its characters determine the low requirements compared with other light sources.

However, there are still disadvantages of LED. First, it must be have a comprehensive supportable project which concerns the heat dissipation system and a constant current drive. Besides, several must be used together to get much larger power. Last, LED has a low color index, which is not as clear as the incandescent lamps especially in daytime.
