2010 is the year that the VoIP grows mature. We can see more and more companies joining in this industry. Obviously, every corporation has its own business model which is different from others. There are four main business models at the present time. Let me list in the below part of the article.
First is the advertisement which is based on the VoIP. Some suppliers of the VoIP regard the advertisement as a business model. There are not so many advertisement supporting the VoIP except some famous brands, like the Click2Voice the Pudding and so on. This kind of phone is always limited, such as the limitation of position and time. Therefore, when you are considering using the VoIP, this service is far from enough.
Second is the phone which is based on the VoIP. The suppliers want to get profits from the hardware which is bought by the users. Generally, they will supply the free phone in some special time and place, and they hope that the user still use their service at other places. Actually, the phone call on the internet is usually free, for example, if the two sides of the phone is in the same company, they do not need to pay.
Third is the unadulterated VoIP which provides the users complete functions. The suppliers also will connect the service with some devices. The free VoIP is always limited. Users can use the phone call only after buying the basic service. Some corporations even extend the VoIP function to the cell phone, using the data connection or the WiFi to implement the communication. Although it is not the cheapest, it’s the most convenient.
The fourth is the VoIP of the pure hardware, including some hardware corporations which make the service of VoIP easier. The hardware corporations produce the devices, such as the USB VoIP and ATAs. They promote the utilization of VoIP service further. The related integrated circuit is TDA1519.
