The navigation application built in the smart phone is going to replace the expensive car navigation system. This company has developed an application which can make the smart phone as the UI of car navigation. With the popularization of smart phone and the emergence of smart phone navigation, the car navigation manufacturers are turning to the smart phone navigation. Of course this change has not broken away from its nature.

However, some manufacturers have the trial to break this boundary. Toyota has exhibited the car navigation trial-manufacture which has integrated all the core functions of the car navigation into the smart phone. This trial-manufacture combines the smart phone and car navigation system together by the HDMI wire harness. It also can transmit the picture and voice which are gained by the smart phone’s computation to car navigation. It also can send the image through the wireless LAN, and send the voice by Bluetooth. With this product, people will never use the expensive car navigation system; because their important functions can be implemented by smart phone.

Of course, the smart phone can not replace all the functions of car navigation, because the car navigation system also needs to send the position information to the control systems, such as brake and hanger.
