FUJITSU has released the next generation gauge board thought and provided several products. The action of FUJITSU is fit in with the tendency of Japanese suppliers who pay much attention on the advanced solutions of technique. FUJITSU implements the differentiation of the gauge board by the scalable construction. Its solutions cover the different kinds of configuration from the economic type to luxury type.
Freescale has also shown the interest for this industry and declared that it is necessary to update the function. This company pays much attention on the solution with high performance, which is different from FUJITSU. Freescale is trying to know the key elements which influence cost; therefore, it sets its sight on the method of special sectional frame buffer. This method aims at reducing the bill of material. The new picture microcontroller MPC5606S, which is released by Freescale recently, has applied this method.
