The emergence of the cloud computing will influence the car information and entertainment system so much. The new techniques, such as the Android system and Wi-Fi will enter the automobile. It is also very important for the car manufacturers and system suppliers, because it will change the system and service. The onboard data center will be "out" once the car connects the cloud computing.

Hardest hit among systems would be the navigation system. The solutions which are based on the new technique will make the onboard data center hard to stand up. There are three elements of the navigation, namely, road, POI and LBS. All these elements should connect with the new technique to gain the newest information. Google and Apple know the cloud computing most. The Apple has two advantages, one is the content, second is the amazing instinct to release the new products. The smart phone is the main reason of the cloud computing’s success, which has expanded this technique to the critical mass.

The critical mass of the movable device cloud computing will come true after the 3G is implemented. The broadband, which supports the cloud content source, will grow fast when the 3G is implemented. The operators are trying to set the competitive price for the unlimited data plan, but transmitting the cloud content has made the standard of broadband high. Currently, the ladder pricing is become the way of operators to gain the benefit.

The cloud computing will influence the car information entertainment so much. I will list the tendencies brought by this new technology in the below part of my article. Firstly, there are so many different kinds of the information and entertainment solutions for the user to choose. Secondly, the new technique will drive more cars to use the Wi-Fi which is the bridge. Thirdly, the new technique will improve the man-machine interface.
