LED light still has a long way to become the mainstream. What’s on the market nowadays are the early solid-state lighting products in various form factors and designs. It’s still too early to predict how LEDs will develop and what features and applications will appear in the following years.

The LED light area layout have been changed by two companies Osram and Philips who promoted the rapid development of LED lighting in the market as well as accelerated the progress pace of LED technology in recent years.
LED, with high luminous efficiency and long lifespan, its advantages are obvious. Its luminous efficiency can reach 2.5 times of incandescent lamp, 13 times of fluorescent lamp. The luminous efficiency of incandescent lamp is very low with only 5 percent of the electric energy transfers into light energy while 95 percent heat, it is wasted. With the development of LED lighting industry, the traditional lighting giants hope to design more rich innovation by introducing new source of illumination products.
